Our Supports & Services

FYSS provide compassionate, person-centred support that empowers individuals with developmental and mental health needs to live with dignity, choice, and purpose. Through our programs, we foster self-expression, independence, and meaningful community involvement, working alongside each person and their support network to ensure they feel valued and included.

At FYSS, our Direct Support Workers provide compassionate, personalized care to help individuals build life skills and take part in community activities such as school, recreation, and day programs. With guidance from our Behaviour Analysts, we follow tailored plans that support emotional health, improve communication, encourage positive behaviours, and promote overall development—helping each person achieve their full potential.

Our Registered Behaviour Analysts (RBAs), working in collaboration with Supervised Behaviour Technicians, provide clinical leadership through comprehensive behavioural assessments and the creation of individualized Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).

Our clinical team also:

  • Delivers training and coaching for caregivers and staff
  • Oversees data collection and analysis to guide progress
  • Facilitates family-centred planning meetings
  • Establishes personalized goals aimed at reducing challenging behaviours and fostering skill development

Through this collaborative and evidence-based approach, we ensure each individual receives targeted, effective, and respectful support that promotes lasting growth and independence.

Every Individual we support has personalized goals designed to enhance their quality of life. These goals focus on building positive skills and reducing harmful behaviours by teaching safe, functional alternatives such as using words, gestures, or assistive devices to communicate needs instead of responding with aggression.
